Intuition and Art: Drawing Out Empathic
Intelligence
Elaine Clayton
Drawing is a link between
our most intimate, indwelling state of being, and the world around us; it is
the act of responding to the world and asking the world to recognize us (and
our unique take on the world). The impulse to draw is natural. Perhaps it is
linked to our most primitive early beginnings, when reaching for the most
desirable fruit meant we'd survive. Perhaps the gesture and the motion as we
reach to create a line on a blank piece of paper signals to us that we are
alive and we have what it takes to survive. |
The
Writer Within
By Susan Parcheta
Being a famous writer is
something I'd aspired to about as far back as Julia Cameron. I was so
convinced about it, that after college, and after three years of teaching
(and discovering that wasn't where my soul wanted to be), I signed up for
that illustrious correspondence school by the same name. I'm not sure the
school exists anymore. I still have the books; I'm tempted to dust them off,
to see how far I've come and maybe to project myself into polishing my
skills. You see, a local journalism job crept into my life. |

The Choice
By Mike Bara
In The Choice, I
will provide readers with the tools they will need to put the knowledge they
gained from The Secret to use in creating a new, positive direction for our
planet. Simply learning that your thoughts can affect how your life turns
out isn't enough. It's what you do with those thoughts -- the reality you
create in the community and the world around you -- that is truly important. |
Strange Minnesota Monsters
By
Christopher S. Larsen
In Minnesota eye witnesses claim to have seen
Bigfoot in Two Harbors, Wendigos in Roseau, lake monsters in Lake Pepin, Mothman
near Rochester, trolls in Cannon Falls, and a musically inclined purple dwarf,
formally known as Prince, in Minneapolis. Search for them, and find shadow
creatures lurking in homes in Richfield. |

map for others, particularly those new to dreamwork. Written with sensitivity

life-changing messages of her dreams, she further inspires dreamers with her
poetry and artwork, emphasizing their value. |
Temple of High Magic
By
Ina Custers-van Bergen
The pathworkings in this book are not chosen at random. They are
stories whose images are very carefully chosen, and whose images have been used
in our culture for centuries: accidentally and deliberately, in fairy tales
and folk stories, in mythological stories and in normal speech. These images
have specific effects on the Inner World. |

Sex, Sin, and Zen
By
Brad Warner
Sex can be a
lot of things. It can be fun. It can even be recreational. It need not be heavy
and need not lead to emotional commitments. But that's
not the kind of sex we're talking about
when we're talking about sex being used
as a way to access higher levels of consciousness or
"sublime experiences of infinite
awareness."
That kind of
sex is very heavy stuff. You cannot get into those levels of awareness unless
you're prepared to get into some very
deep stuff within yourself and within the person with whom you're
engaging in your "meditation."

Holy Ghosts
By Gary Jansen
Growing up in Rockville Centre, Long Island, Gary
Jansen never believed in ghosts. His mother - a devoutly Catholic woman with a
keen sense for the uncanny - claimed that their family house was haunted. But
Jansen never found anything inexplicable in how their doorbell would sometimes
ring of its own accord; or in the mysterious sounds of footsteps or breaking
glass that occasionally would fill their home; or even in his mother's sometimes
unnervingly accurate visions of future events and tragedies. |
